A few years ago, I faced the most pivotal interview of my career. It wasn’t for a new job. It was to save the one I had and loved at Meta.
My position at Meta was being eliminated, and I had to go through the Meta PM interview loop again,
– the very one that I had failed multiple times before.
The stakes couldn't have been higher.
The pressure was immense.
The uncertainty was suffocating.
And the self-doubt kept me up at night.
It all felt overwhelming like my career (and self-worth) was about to collapse, again.
I eventually cracked the interview and was able to keep my job.
And that was when I discovered a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed under this level of pressure.
This experience planted the seed for my coaching journey.
I realized the profound impact of having someone who truly understands the nuances and strategies required to crack high-stakes interviews.
I eventually became a calibrated interviewer, and conducted 200+ interviews for both IC and People Management candidates.
While I was still at Meta, I helped many colleagues pass the PM loop and transition to the PM role.
I also became a key partner for Recruiting for assessing Product Sense signals.
