Meta IC5 Offer!

Super excited to share the success story of a client who landed their dream role at Meta!

This was their 3rd time interviewing at Meta, after previously being unsuccessful in their past 2 attempts.

We are super happy that they nailed the interview and secured an IC5 offer this time around!

My client came from a strong technical background and is now an expert in their domain, but needed guidance in framing their answers in a more concise, higher-level manner for the interviews.

We worked on structuring their responses to showcase their strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, without getting too deep into the technical weeds.

Additionally, as an immigrant, they were concerned about their tone and accent potentially being a barrier.

We worked on techniques to speak in a more grounded way that worked for them, that would also resonate with the interviewers.

This included modulating their vocal inflections and projecting a poised, senior presence.

In addition to the tactical side of interview prep, we also addressed some underlying imposter syndrome my client was experiencing.

They lacked confidence in their own abilities, despite having an impressive background...

We were able to rebuild their self-assurance and help them own their expertise during the process.

Overall, I'm so happy to have played a role in providing structure, guidance, and feedback to help them crack their Meta interviews :)

Once a month, on the last Monday of the month, a small group PMs targeting L7-L9 roles gathers on Zoom to ask me and my partner Amit Saxena (ex Meta Director) anything.

What does "great" actually sound like at this level? How do you frame cross-org impact without sounding junior? What's the real difference between an L6 and an L7-L9 answer?

Nothing is off limits.

The next one is next Monday, would you like to join us?
