Getting a Meta IC6 PM offer

Celebrating 2 wins today: 1) client had positive feedback across the board on their Meta interviews, and 2) referring me to their colleague. 🎉

When we started working together, my client felt that as an introvert, they couldn’t perform well in interviews, especially in Product Sense. They wanted to be structured but still wanted to be themself.

They rated their comfort level at only 5/10. They’ve done all the readings, watched all the videos, did lots of mocks, but they still felt that they:

– sounded “dumb”.
– didn’t have insightful things to say in the beginning.
– couldn’t come up with creative solutions.
– were scoping down too far that’d lead to boring solutions,
– but also afraid of not including enough info upfront that could help narrow down the problem space.
– etc etc etc.

They wished that they could just have fun during Product Sense, as if they are just brainstorming with friends. But they felt that they couldn’t have fun when they weren’t confident and comfortable.

That’s why we worked on not only the structure, but also on how to flow from one section of the Product Sense to another so the narrative is flowey and strong at the IC6 level.

After working together, they felt more confident such that their skills naturally shined in the interviews. They have already started working at Meta as IC6 PM and I am SO happy to be part of their journey. 🤩
