The Mindset Shift for Interview Success

Anxious Before Interviews? This mindset shift might help.

What is an interview exactly?

It's a conversation.

And there are 2 types of conversations:
1) the type that makes you want to have another conversation,
2) the type that makes you want to stop.

The Real Goal of an Interview: it's to continue the conversation.

It's not necessarily to get the job offer immediately.

So let's reframe:

The mindset for interview success with EASE is to have a conversation with a human being, such that they'll want to have another conversation.

The goal is not to answer questions perfectly.

It's to establishing a connection.

The widely available frameworks help with tactics that don't focus on connection building.

And connection building is the foundation of what I help my clients with.

We focus on mindset, as well as words and framing that work because they build connections in interviews.

And this is one of the many reasons why I'm inviting you to join me and other Product leaders in acing L6+ PM interviews with more ease.

  1. Like my client who landed a new role with a 35% increase in total comp, and also up-leveled from Senior PM to Director!
  2. And a client who landed offers from Loom and Dropbox and accepted the offer from Loom as Principal PM
  3. And a client with a GPM offer from Yelp equivalent to $500K in the Bay Area
  4. And a client with IC6 PM offer from Meta.
  5. And a client with an IC7 PM offer from Meta.
